TR473 - Technical Project Manager

CONNECT is seeking a Technical Project Manager for a full-time, permanent position with our client in the West Denver Metro area. This PM will be responsible for the design, installation, and connectivity of computer and network systems to ensure the stable operation of the client’s IT assets. Also responsible for the scheduling and direction of a team of IT service specialists to resolve service interruptions in a timely fashion. Will also champion strategic process improvement initiatives to align with specific business targets and best practices.

QUALIFICATIONS
BA/BS in computer science or related area, or equivalent work experience
3+ years managing/configuring enterprise-wide LANs, WANs, WLANs, VPNs, etc.
Exceptional knowledge of network and PC operating systems, including experience managing network infrastructures and telephony
Hands-on experience troubleshooting hardware (servers, routers, bridges, switches, hubs, modems, network interface cards, etc.)
Knowledge and understanding of system flow charts, data processing concepts, and telecommunications principles.
Experience with ITIL operational best practice framework
Experience working in FDA regulated environments a plus.
Experience in leading diverse technical teams in systems management and problem resolution
Experience in management of vendor service providers in the delivery of IT services to business customers
Certifications and/or study in core Microsoft and Cisco technologies desirable.
Certifications and/or study in key technologies such as server virtualization, SAN, NAS, Systems Management & Monitoring tools, etc. desirable
Certifications and/or study of advanced key supporting best practice methodologies such as ITIL, PMI, Prince2 desirable.
