CONNECT is seeking a Data Warehouse Developer with strong skills in Cognos. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with our client in Boulder. This Developer will be involved in the design and development of a complex reporting and data analysis environment which enables dashboard, standardized and ad-hoc reporting, trend analysis and OLAP cubes creation. Responsible for implementing data models, database, and framework designs; defining and implementing data quality management and error handling processes; and, defining, developing, and testing the processes and programs necessary for data framework, report environment, and OLAP cubes.

QUALIFICATIONS
BA/BS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
5+ years experience developing report and data analysis environments with BI-related tools
Experience developing, using, and administering reporting tools such as Cognos and/or Business Objects; work experience using Cognos is strongly desired
General understanding of database management, connectivity between multiple and disparate database systems, systems security, and administration
Practical experience with techniques used to manage/maintain a data warehouse and business intelligence environment
P&C insurance knowledge, XML, XSLT, XLST:FO, Java, and/or Web Services knowledge is a plus
