TF215 - Senior Systems Engineer

CONNECT is seeking a senior-level Microsoft Systems Engineer for a full-time, permanent position with our client in the Spokane, WA area. As part of a team, Engineer designs, builds, tests, and deploys solutions to the customer base. Interacts with customers at the technical level, effectively identifying and translating business goals into strategies and solutions. Significant proficiency is required in concept of operations development, system design and review, requirements definition, system transition planning, and supporting customer defined system integration tasks. Occasional on call rotation as well as regional travel may be required.

QUALIFICATIONS
BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
5+ years experience in a Professional Services or IT Consulting environment
Strong knowledge of MS Windows Server and Desktop Architecture, TCP/IP networking, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and MS Exchange
Experience with Terminal Server and Citrix a must
Experience with Virtual Technologies, VMWare, XenServer, etc., a must
Experience with Server and SAN technologies (ECM, IBM, NetApp) a strong plus
Certifications such as an MCSE, VCP, CCA, or commensurate experience would be advantageous

Salary is competitive, depending on experience. Candidates local to the Pacific Northwest or with strong ties to the Eastern Washington area will be given first consideration.
