Chief Solutions Architect
Jed Summerton is the Chief Solutions Architect at CONNECT: The Knowledge Network (CONNECT). Jed has worked with CONNECT for fifteen (15) years as an independent consultant and as a client, and has now joined the CONNECT staff to provide senior guidance to CONNECT teams and clients in IT strategy, business intelligence, and data warehousing. Jed has twenty-five (25) years of experience in information technology, business-process improvement, business management, and IT consulting. In his roles as technical director and senior IT manager, Jed has formulated and executed multi-year IT plans with documented returns on investment, implemented e-commerce systems, and built one of the first real-time data warehouses larger than ten (10) Terabytes (TB). He also pioneered near-line storage and has received numerous industry citations and awards for storage architecture and management practices. As a consultant, Jed has guided over thirty-five (35) data-warehouse and business-intelligence programs from architecture to implementation for Fortune 1000® clients. Jed has degrees in Business Administration (Finance) and Computer Science from the University of Delaware. |
Chief Workforce Architect As
Chief Workforce Architect, Lorna Rickard's primary
responsibility is designing, developing and delivering solutions
that help individuals and teams build better workplaces. With over
17 years' experience mentoring, coaching, consulting and training
leaders and team members, Lorna is well prepared to assist our
clients, consultants and candidates in their complex environments.
Lorna has a B.S. degree in Investment Finance from California State
University, Long Beach. |
Client Relations Tamiko Abo is responsible for client relations, supporting both the sales and the recruiting teams. She is responsible for generating leads, creating new relationships with clients, consultants, and strategic partners, as well as maintaining current relationships. She has been in sales in the technical industry for 15 years. |
Controller Gary Wall serves as CONNECT's controller, handling all the aspects involved with finance, budget planning, legal, and risk management. |
Accounting Assistant
As part of the finance team at CONNECT, Judy Kammerzell supports the
Controller with billing, payroll, and contracts for our consultants and clients. |

Account ManagerOur Account Manager's primary objective is to place IT personnel with current client companies while maintaining a strong relationship with existing clients. He works with the recruiters to find the very best personnel fit for each client requirement, as well as develops new business relationships. He may be contacted with any questions or issues relating to an assignment, or to advise our team of the need for IT talent at the client site or at a potential new client. |

Office Manager Jackie Roberts serves as Office Manager for CONNECT. She manages all areas of administration and facilities, and provides support in the areas of finance, human resources, systems, and customer service. If you have a general question or don't know whom you should talk to at CONNECT, Jackie is the best place to start. |
Marketing Administrator Jean-Marie Willis administers all marketing materials and collateral, gifts, special meetings and events for CONNECT, its consultants, candidates and clients. She is responsible for designing, organizing and implementing projects for CONNECT. |
Systems Administrator Eric Jacobshagen is responsible for maintaining, upgrading and servicing our systems requirements and website. He keeps our processes accessible, including e-mail and the Internet, as well as the applications and databases we use to track all resumes, status of assignment, client progress, and upcoming opportunities. |
